Upstream Departures:
Weekends and Holidays: Trips leave
every hour, on the hour, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Weekdays: Trips leave every hour, on
the hour, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All reserved trips must have their group
arrive 45 minutes before scheduled departure time. If not, openings will be released
to other waiting guests.
Available Trips (See Map):
One Hour Trip: Drop off at Western
Boulevard, trip length - 6 miles.
Three Hour Trip: Drop off at White
Bridge in Double Trouble State Park, trip length - 12 miles.
Four Hour Trip : Drop off at Ore Pond
Canoe Access, Double Trouble State Park, trip length - 17 miles.
Please Note: You are encouraged to
take as much time as you like regardless of what trip length you choose, however all equipment
must be returned to the campground by 6:00 p.m. or a late fee of $15.00 per boat per hour will
be charged.
Canoe Livery Operating Schedule:
Rentals available on weekends and holidays
April 19 to October 19. Reservations are RECOMMENDED for ALL weekday boat rentals. Weekends available to October 19.
Appointments for canoeing in the off season by advance arrangements only.
Reservations:
Reservations are highly recommended to insure
that your group departs on the day and time that you would like. A deposit
will be required to confirm your outing. We accept Visa / MasterCard for deposits.
Cancellations and Rainchecks:
A refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee is
available if notification is made 7 days before trip date. Less than 7 days notice NO
REFUNDS.
A raincheck is available IF IT IS RAINING AT OUR LOCATION
on the day of your scheduled outing. We will RESCHEDULE your group for a
new date and time.
Rental Arrangements:
To rent you must be 18 years or older. You
must leave the office 1 VALID Drivers License or a Visa/MasterCard. Security
deposits are returned at the end of the day when all equipment is returned.
Your trip takes you through State Park Lands. You must OBEY ALL POSTED REGULATIONS!
There will be: No children under 5 years old, No alcoholic beverages, No pets and No
eating or drinking during transport.
PLEASE in an effort to keep our creek
beautiful, we ask for your help- bring your trash back and please no glass bottles or
styrofoam containers.
Cedar Creek Cafe`:
On Saturday and Sunday, breakfast is served
from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. in the Cedar Creek Cafe. Have your group meet here for
breakfast before you go canoeing. Please remember to allow plenty of time to sign up
for the trip and eat before the trip leaves. Also, please stop by our Cedar Creek Ice Cream Corner for a delightful treat.
